PHYSICALLY DISABLE PERSONS CONTROL THE ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES BY USING DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING EMBEDDED ALGORITHM

Abstract:
In the existing method patient or elder people has to wear the sensor unit or other communicating unit into their body. It may give inconvenient to the elder people or patient. In the Proposed model, a communication system which converts signal languages, used by elder people into image. This has been done by using Virtual Reality with Digital Image processing and embedded system. Virtual reality (VR) typically refers to computer technologies that use software to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that replicate a real environment (or create an imaginary setting), and simulate a user’s physical presence in this environment. In this paper camera unit with DIP process system is placed in front of the elder people. The signals of the elder people are predefined in the DIP unit. Then DIP unit compares the image of the signal given by the elder people, according to the elder people signal DIP system process the result and passes the result to the embedded unit. Based on the given signal Embedded system activate the loads. So this method is very much comfortable to the elder people and also easy to implement.
